There are four recordings of this song known:

1. Sandy’s studio recording was released on Rendezvous, later as title track of the 2CD anthology No More Sad Refrains, and in 2004 on the Fledg’ling Sandy Denny anthology A Boxful of Treasures.
2. Sandy recorded a demo of this song at home in Byfield in December 1985; she accompanied herself on piano. This track was included in the bonus CD of A Boxful of Treasures.
3. A live version recorded with Fairport at the Royal Albert Hall on 10 June 1975 was released on the semi-bootleg From Past Archives,. Thus Fairport were playing this before Sandy recorded it on her solo album.
4. Another live version was recorded on Sandy’s last concert on 27 November 1977 and is available on Gold Dust - Live at the Royalty.
