Eliza Carthy and Nancy Kerr played the tune The March of the Kings of Laoise in 1993 on their eponymous album Eliza Carthy & Nancy Kerr. They noted:

The March of the Kings of Laoise is Irish. From Laoise? We got it from a man who attended a fiddle workshop we gave at Sidmouth Folk Festival in 1992.

Their recording from an Andy Kershaw radio session on 12 March 1994 was included in 2020 on Eliza Carthy’s CD Live to Air.
