Ashley Hutchings and friends recorded this morris tune from Bleddington in 1972 for their album Morris On and in 1974-5 for The Etchingham Steam Band.

Chris Wood, Roger Wilson and Martin Carthy recorded it in 1998 for their album Wood – Wilson – Carthy, and Eliza Carthy and Martin Green in 2001 for their album Dinner. Martin Green commented in his record’s sleeve notes:

Young Collins is a morris tune I learnt from my dad when I was even smaller and he was the same size.
