[Bob Dylan]
Love Minus Zero/No Limit (read “Love Minus Zero over No Limit”) is a song written by Bob Dylan for his fifth studio album Bringing It All Back Home, released in April 1965.
Julie Felix sang Love Minus Zero/No Limit in 1966 on her Fontana album Changes. This track was also included in 2002 on her album of songs by Bob Dylan, Starry Eyed and Laughing….
Martin Simpson sang Love Minus Zero/No Limit in 1976 on his Trailer album Golden Vanity.
Stefan Sobell played Love Minus Zero in 1978 on the Transatlantic The Leader Tradition album The Dulcimer Players.
Steve Turner sang Love Minus Zero/No Limit in 2026 on his Tradition Bearers CD A Host of Furious Fancies. He noted:
Nothing like one of Dylan’s great love songs to play around with on the concertina. Bob’s not known for his concertina accompaniments (so I’m always available if he feels like trying out something new on one of his albums!). Some of his songs seem to work quite well on the concertina (usually the earlier ones). This one comes from his Bringing it All Back Home album (1965). The lady on the couch on the cover photo is Sally Grossman, wife of his one-time manager Albert Grossman. She just happened to be there at the time!
