The Norfolk Long Dance

This tune was recorded in 1976 by the Albion Dance Band during the sessions for, but not included in the Kickin’ Up the Sawdust album, with John Tams, melodeon; Pete Pullock, clarinet, baritone saxophone; Ashley Hutchings, bass guitar; Michael Gregory, drums; and Graeme Taylor, electric guitar. It was finally released in 1984 on the Dambuster Records double LP Buttons & Bows (together with The Quaker’s Wife / Little Burnt Potato) and in 2002 on the Ashley Hutchings anthology (The Guv’nor Vol.) 5.
