The Quaker’s Wife / Little Burnt Potato
[trad. arr. Bullock, Gregory, Hebbert, Hutchings, Tams, Taylor]
These are two tunes recorded in 1976 by the Albion Dance Band during the sessions for, but not included in the Kickin’ Up the Sawdust album, with John Tams, melodeon; Pete Pullock, clarinet, baritone saxophone; Ashley Hutchings, bass guitar; Michael Gregory, drums; Graeme Taylor, electric guitar; and Michael Hebbert, concertina. They were finally released in 1984 on the Dambuster Records double LP Buttons & Bows (together with The Norfolk Long Dance) and in 1996 on the Ashley Hutchings anthology The Guv’nor Vol. 4.
