Rediscovered tapes of UK group Blowzabella in their first groundbreaking year 1979 with its creator Bill O’Toole playing the English bagpipes he reconstructed. This innovative group brought back the English bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy to the UK music scene. Their ceilidh’s introduced multi-cultural music and dances ie French bourrée, Breton and Macedonian dances. They popularised French dances in the UK where now there are over 100 French dance clubs.
