Pictures from Enschede and Lochem, Holland

These pictures were taken by Henk Eijsink during Sandy's solo concert at the Enschede Folk Festival in 1971 and with Fairport's Rising for the Moon line up in Lochem in 1975. Henk comments:

In Enschede, Sandy played and sang brilliant - a concert you'll never forget! Sandy all by herself, very nervous, but amazingly good, very emotional and touching. Perhaps the best gig I ever saw. Other musicians at the Enschede Folk Festival were Ashley Hutchings' second Albion Country Band line up with Martin Carthy, John Kirkpatrick, Sue Harris and Simon Nicol... a fantastic weekend.

Some days after putting these pictures on the server I got an e-mail from Wout Koolmees with some more Lochem pictures. Wout comments:

I really was surprised about so many information and interest from all over the world and find out that her music is still alive, especially the pictures of the Holland tour Lochem in 1975. I have been there myself and took almost the same pictures, as I send some of them hereby. She impressed my deeply with her songs that day, and now after almost 30 years, all my old tapes are long gone, I still miss the music very much.
