There exist two versions of this song:

1. Sandy recorded a demo version at The Manor, Oxfordshire in Spring 1972 prior to the Sandy; she played 12-string guitar. This recording was released on the Sandy Denny box sets Who Knows Where the Time Goes? and A Boxful of Treasures.
2. A Fairport Convention version was recorded in the studio and released on Rising for the Moon in 1976. This features a very careful violin solo by Dave Swarbrick and some interesting on/off beat effects from the guitars. Bruce Rowland plays drums.
